I have heard many things about this game called Elswordwhich my friends are talking about and recommending it. After many times of asking me to give the game a chance, I have decided to give it a try. I'm thinking of playing Chung and picking Tactical Trooperor Deadly Chaserout of all the characters available because I think they look cool. Please help I can't decide! Can you give me some suggestions and advice about those two classes please? I heard they are good in their own ways but I can't decide >.<.
For TT his PvE clearing is slower compared to DC due to the lack of mobility in his skills, he plays more a supportive role in the party with his buffs. He accels more in 3v3 PvP, his Chaos Cannon does a lot of aoe damage and his siege mode disrupts people with its long range along with his party buffs.
For DC theres not too much to say his PvE is faster, and his PvP is strong with his pistol spam and higher mobility
Well, being someone who plays DC, personally, I don't think he excels in PVP or PVE. He is not the best in either, but he would do alright in both fields. In my opinion, DC is rather versatile, depending on the skills you choose, you can make him more suitable for PVP or PVE, but it's difficult to have a hybrid build. I believe DC is better than TT at clearing mobs(PVE), especially if you choose Shooting Star and/or Heavy Railgun and the passive Intense Showtime(so you can spam more abilities). Spamming pistols(the xz loop) is also a great way to do damage to multiple enemies at low mana cost, and it is really useful in PVE, but it can be interrupted rather easily by a lot of moves in PVP.
TT is known as a very strong bosser due to the possibility of inflicting an insane amount of damage in a short time(with Chaos Cannon), and he is also very strong in PVP because of Siege Shelling(almost untouchable if spammed from afar), Chaos Cannon(no one dares to approach if he uses it), as well as his natural tankiness and buffs which make him even harder to kill. His grenades are good for interrupting enemies and skills such as Commander's Mark and Artillery Support mark the enemy and missiles home in on them periodically. TT's skill set consists of multiple moves to poke at enemies while also being able to support the team with defense buffs.
For PVE, I think DC is slightly better. Choose this class if you prefer a more versatile play-style and could have the choice of either PVP or PVE rather than being restricted to one due to the available skills. As for PVP and fighting against bosses, TT is definitely stronger, but TT's field clearing abilities are rather low, so he would not be able to kill mobs as quickly as DC and his play-style is also not as fast-paced as DC's.
TT sucks when theres a curve on the map because his partner skill next to chaos cannon, carpet bombing only goes in a straight line While DC can just clear his whole screen. Their missles are different in many ways, like, their shooting star and dread chase. dread chase automatically hits one target, the target next to the chung, and does somewhat massive damage while DC's shooting star is only good if theres one enemy on the team or field, personally, i'd pick TT because of the salt everyone gives about spamming X or siege or missles. DC is also way faster than TT and his suuuuuuuuuuuupppppppppeeeeeerrrr annoying slow shot :P
